Emulation & Copyright
Emulators are legal software. The PS2 BIOS and PS2 games, however, are copyrighted works. Dumping a BIOS from a console you own for personal backup is widely considered acceptable; downloading BIOS files or games you do not own is copyright infringement in the US and many other countries. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
Affiliation
This is an independent fan resource. We are not affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment, the PCSX2 team, or any emulator developer.

Accuracy
Emulator software changes quickly. We update guides regularly, but if something changed, tell us and we will fix it.
